Last Week&’ Show

Robot Santas and Killer Christmas Trees!!

For those of you pining for the new Doctor Who in a few weeks, like me, here is a sneak peak at the show over at the BBC news website. It looks like Russel T Davies is going with a strong anti-war message, which should be interesting especially considering how good the show has been under his watch this past year. So go check it out and start salivating for more Tardis!!!

Oh the Subtitles

This has kind of been around the internet for a while I think, but it is still pretty funny. It’ Star Wars with crappy bootleg subtitles from a Asia I think.

Intelligent Design Fails Logic…Again

Latest efforts of Intelligent Design proponents have implicated the principles of SETI program. According to proponents of Intelligent Design, what SETI does, and what it looks for, is in essence a recognition of principles fueling Intelligent Design “theory”, to which SETI replied as following, calling their statement bull.

Mackies!!!

Machinima is one of the most ingenious ways of combining creativity, love of video games, hours of sitting in your underwear, exchanging bad jokes, sweating, scratching your privates, eating chips and drinking Jolt, while discussing the downfalls of Lucas and cg. In the end, you get ingenious animation that is literally ripped out of your favorite video game, happens to be full of bad jokes, and reminds you of all the sleepless nights full of video games, sweating, and swearing at Lucas. Some of it also happens to be very good. Thus the Mackies!!! If you were one of enthusiastic fools that laughed at those precious moments of Red and Blue stupidity, this baby is for you.

Snowflakes Rule!

Although Vancouverites love to pretend that we live in California / Florida (aka. a glorified retirement community), we do have winter and snow. Sure, Vancouver doesn’t quite get as chilly as Montreal, or Toronto, or Calgary with their magnificent -40 Celsius degrees moments, but we do have snow. Snow is cool. Why? Because it’s a natural phenomena that, quite frankly, laughs in the face of intelligent design. Snowflakes are amazing and Water is awesome!
