Elections are coming!!! Oct 14th is the day when you will walk through the polls and determine the future of technology of Canada. We’ve looked at candidates and political party platforms to provide you with some guidance on how to make your vote count in relation to Bill C61.

This week we are joined by Russell McOrmond who explains what lies at the heart of Bill C61, and provides a great guide on DigitalCopyright.ca blog for each candidate’s position in your own residential area.

So, check you DigitalCopyright.ca and find out who you’re voting for! And if you’re met only with candidates staunchly supporting Bill C61, then make sure you let them know that you are a voter, and you feel very different about Canadian DMCA.

    and so do the conservatives. Harper can bite me if he think that he can turn us away from having a say and then ask for our vote. I cannot believe how shameless this scharade is, and how far they’re taking it. I am not for one giving up my rights, or forgoing my privacy and anonymity. And sure as hell I am not supporting these fatcats who expect us to pay ridiculous taxes on blank media AND ALL THE CRAPPY AVRIL LAVIGNE ALBUMS multiple times. As a parent, buying this shit once is enough.
