Because this year’s V-Con is twice as lively as last year’s - Canvention is held at Vancouver as well, which means that Prix Aurora Awards nominees and winners will be rubbing shoulders with the fans!

Incomplete download...?
Hey there, this is the first time I’ve listened to Hi-Sci-Fi (I found out about the show when you stopped by my “D&D Duels” table at VCON and downloaded the iTunes syndication feed) so I’d like to start just by saying hello.
“Hello!” ;-)
I started with this episode since it had the pre-VCON Walsh interview on it. Unfortunately, it seems to be cut off at the end. In fact, iTunes claims that the file is 1:00:50 long but when I play it it actually runs for 1:01:30 and cuts off just after Susan Walsh’s comment about Jenny Calendar as an example of Fantasy crossed with Science Fiction.
I also noticed there was about 4:20 min of stuff at the beggining that may not have been related to the Hi-Sci-Fi program… something about “CreativePeace.com” and “Media Deomocracy Day”, followed by one piece of music before the music that lead into the show. I wonder if the timing of the capture from the raido show may have been shifted forward by accident?
Anyway, what I did hear was interesting enough that I’ll be keeping you on my iPod (though, being primarily a talk-podcast affictionado, I do wish it were AAC tagged so I could more easily skip past the music sections, or that you released an edited version with just the interview bits. But who am I, a total newbie here, to tell you what to do, eh?). I’m looking forward to hearing your live show from VCON once it’s posted.
I do have one suggestion I would like you to take to heart - your iTunes feed gives your podcast the title “Audio” rather than something more meaningful, like “Hi-Sci-Fi”. Perhaps you could look into fixing that? :-)

Promise
Thanks for the notice - I’ll re-edit and re-post it!
Hope you can tune each week. And thank you for dropping a line.

Thanks... but where's the podcast feed?
Thanks for looking into this Irma. :-)
I have another problem now - your feed seems to have disappeared completely. Even when I try to open the XML file (which is given as http://www.hiscifi.com/podcast.xml in iTunes) directly using Internet Explorer I get a “Not Found” error.
Hoping you can get this fixed too,
