The very first thing I thought of when I saw this was… ‘Hmm what are the sources for the image?’ but it would appear that you, and hundreds of others like you, have failed miserably to bring the actual FACTS of this non story to your readers, thus increasing the amount of DISinformation that traverses the internet.
I won’t go on, I will just provide you with a link to a story where the author has indeed discovered the error of his ways and has published an edit of his original article, stating the facts about the so called airport scanner image.

Please at least try to spread information that is checked and verified in future or you are about as worthy a news source as the likes of Adam curry or David Icke!

I can prove this image is a FAKE.
The picture of the woman was taken off of a STOCK PHOTO website and was NOT produced by an Airport Scanner.

all they did was photoshop it to make it look like it was made by an airport scanner and imposed the image of a gun over top. Please quit relaying this false information. I have a degree in Art & Design and that’s how I know this image is a fake and can reproduce it in under 5 minutes.

Hello there. I already left you a comment telling you about the other sites like yours that also fell for this (now VERY WELL KNOWN) scam of the hoax scanner images. Yet you have chosen not to change the article or even say anything about it not being true?!
Is this because you would prefer top have the article as it is because then it fits with your agenda and view of the world which is obviously a bit Big Brother etc etc?
I think you only have one choice in this: Come clean or admit you are a blatant liar.

Additionally, it has been uncovered that many of these scans are adjustable in terms of visual clarity. Some are showing relative BLURS of human physiology, while others show very very clear scans similar to ones above.

In Britain if you are asked to go through one of the scanners you must comply. If you refuse you will be barred from flying and your name will be kept on a list. Guilty before you fly. You are not given the opportunity to have a pat down.
The terrorists have scarred the not properly elected Prime Minister (what a joke) in to forcing civilised human beings in to getting there naked bodies photo graphed and looked at in detail by anyone who is TRAINED. Have these perverts been vetted or are they on the sex offenders list. I bet all the Trained individuals are men.
A Doctor is the only other man i would willingly let look at my wife’s naked body for medical reasons not some floor cleaner who applied for a job as pervert. Looking for bombs or staring at naked woman all day. What a job to have. Not having to pay for porn but also getting paid to look at it. I spoke to a friend at an airport and he told me that the images are kept for an hour before they are deleted. Just encase something happens on the plane they can then go back and have another look at the porn. So all this “the images aren’t stored in anyway and are deleted straight away” is complete rubbish!
In order for myself and family to have a nice holiday in the sun I am expected to let my wife expose herself to a complete stranger.
I didn’t marry a slag. Porn stars have a choice to get photo graphed, our wife’s and children don’t. Until these Skandalis machines are destroyed I am stuck in this country for a holiday. To drive to a hot country far away with a young family is unfair on them.
