Spore to Be released Sept 7

Spore is coming out this year according to an article on Joystiq. After seven delays, and much hype, the game from Maxis is on its way to Windows PC, Mac, DS, and Cell phones this September. PS3, 360, and Wii are still to be confirmed. Why so excited about this game? It is essentially Sim everything in that you start as a spore and attempt to combine different acids so that you can evolve into ever more complex life forms. The game was originally developed by a guy named Will Wright and is nothing short of innovative genius that is deatailed Here.

This game is meant to revolutionize the world of interactive gaming. Will Wright’s lecture on current state of gaming was an eye-opening event, and Spore is meant to change a lot of things. I can’t wait to find out what the system requirements are to run Spore.

I’ve been waiting for this

I’ve been waiting for this for years! My biggest fear surrounding this game is that I would play it all day and get nothing done if I had my hands on it. Sim Earth was the coolest thing ever when I played it, and as much as it lets you play god Spore lets you play an even cooler god. And you can play online. I’m totally going to make a species that looks like a giant wang. I’ll call them Penioids.
